The Platanos chalet shelters in the shade of tall leafy maple trees and faces the large lawn with a view of the pond. The décor is colourful and naïf. Forty years ago it was a stable for calves, then a henhouse. Walls were built, windows and doors were fitted, and a bathroom was added for Marta Galloti, founder of Pousada dos Anjos, to use the building as her studio. We have converted it into a chalet. A fine piece of sculpture stands outside. The front is a long porch. Nearby is a jaboticaba tree.
The Platanos chalet has a minibar fridge, LCD TV with cable tv, and double and single beds separated by a curtain.
Platanos is charming, simple and romantic, offering privacy, easy access, and plenty of room for three guests. Recommended for children, seniors and people with special needs.
